Easy, Gluten Free, Strawberry Frosting

Strawberry frosting made with real strawberries is such a breeze with this simple recipe made with 4 basic ingredients. Frost your favorite cake or cupcakes, use it for the cream in whoopie pies—so versatile, so delicious!

Ingredients All you need are 4 basic ingredients.

• 1/2 cup coconut butter, palm shortening, or seed butter

• 2 cups powdered sugar, organic

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, the good stuff

• 1/4 cup strawberry compote (fresh or frozen strawberries heated in a pan with a small amount of sweetener and then pureed in a blender until smooth)

Instructions

• Combine all ingredients in a bowl with an electric mixer until smooth.
