Some of our baked goods contain vanilla which is made with a corn-based alcohol. Our frostings and icings are made with organic, fair trade powdered sugar which contains tapioca starch. Our powdered sugar is made on the same production line as powdered sugar that contains corn starch.
Mixes

For best results, use your mix within six months of purchase. Keep your sealed mix in the fridge or freezer. Once you’re ready to prepare your mix, remove the mix from the fridge/freezer and allow it to come up to room temperature before using (usually 2-3 hours).

The apple cider vinegar is necessary for the rising process to be successful. However, you can use lemon juice as a substitute.

You are correct, eggs are listed as a wet ingredient in the recipes. However, you can leave the eggs out completely in most of the mixes. You do want to use applesauce or another egg replacer in the pancake/waffle mix and aquafaba egg replacer in the bread mix.

No, they are not. We purchase and use organic ingredients in Sweet Elizabeth’s Organics mixes, but we have not gone through the certification process.

Added Oil

We use full-fat, organic, canned coconut milk in the majority of our baked goods to give them the flavor and texture that you have come to love. Our doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, and croutons contain organic coconut oil. Our focaccia bread contains olive oil. Our frostings contain fair-trade, organic palm shortening. Those who wish to avoid added oil may choose coconut whipped cream or vanilla glaze for bakery items that typically come with frosting. Our dried cranberries are coated with a small amount of sunflower oil.
