Easy, Gluten Free, Vegan, Chocolate Doughnuts
These are the easiest, yummiest, doughnuts you will ever make. And, they are chock full of chocolate for all the chocolate hounds in your life. My gluten-free, vegan, top 8 free (except coconut), Chocolate Cake Mix allows you to make delectable chocolate doughnuts in no time, every time.
Doughnuts are delightful in their own right. Add a little chocolate, and they become divine. These doughnuts are rich, fluffy, and moist with just the right amount of chocolate. Sprinkle them with powdered sugar or drizzle them with vanilla icing for added yumminess.
Seriously, you can make these doughnuts and icing in a flash. I have taken the challenge out and put the simplicity in! Let’s get down to it.
Doughnut Ingredients and Instructions
In addition to my Chocolate Baking Mix all you need are 2 basic ingredients.
Full fat coconut milk
Vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and stir until mixed well. Scoop the batter into a doughnut pan. You will have plenty of time to make the icing while the doughnuts bake and cool.
Optional Coating Ingredients and Instructions
Powdered sugar
Cool completely before rolling in powdered sugar or drizzling with icing.
Optional Icing Ingredients and Instructions
2 Tablespoons coconut milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract, the good stuff
1/2-3/4 cup powdered sugar
Combine all ingredients in a bowl until well mixed. Vary the amount of coconut milk and powdered sugar to achieve the consistency that you like.

- 1 Sweet Elizabeth's Organics Chocolate Cake Mix, love already included
- 1 can full fat coconut milk, healthy fats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, the good stuff
- Powdered sugar
- 2 Tablespoons of coconut milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2-3/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and stir until mixed well.
- Scoop the batter into a doughnut pan.
- Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
- Cool completely before rolling in powdered sugar or drizzling with icing.

- Roll in powdered sugar until completely covered.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl until well mixed.
